We are all like puppets to a great extent.  The strings are connected to the heavens and are being pulled by the Gods.  Since the controls are in the heavens, they can very well make or mar a person.

I was talking to my elder brother many years ago about astrology.  One of his employees had just given me a brief introduction to astrology.  I was telling my brother that each horoscope is a stand-alone horoscope and was not influenced by others.  He was of the opinion that human beings are all connected and hence their horoscopes are connected too.  Strictly speaking, I was right but practically it so turned out that he seems right. 

To give you an example, person "A" may have a fantastic horoscope and person "B" may have an ordinary horoscope.  But since the strings are connected to the heavens, if a particular God or Goddess wants to favor "B", he or she can do it very easily.  In this case, person "B" can be promoted at the expense of person "A". 

My own horoscope is a fantastic one but my real life has deviated a great deal from my horoscope.  I am trying to put it back on track through my own astrology.  Well, if I can not solve my own problems, how would I be able to solve others problems?

 Vastu Sashtra (Indian Architecture) does not recommend that people should be living together in a building having several apartments.  It recommends living in separate houses with each having clear open spaces all around.  The reason for this could be that problems of people living together in an apartment complex are subject to the “transfer” problem i.e. one person’s problems can be transferred to another person and vice versa.  This is mentioned in one of the Puranas (Indian Scriptures).  It may not be practically possible at present for everybody to afford his own house but everyone should surely strive for it.

Since strings are connected to heavens, it makes perfect sense to propitiate various Gods and Goddesses at appropriate times.  The same should be done to the planets as well.  Indian astrology rightly prescribes remedial measures to propitiate Gods and planets.

In my case, even propitiating has not worked out at times; but then my story is different than others.

I have seen quite a few questions by now but have not seen much variety!  You could ask me on a variety of subjects like: success in a venture, success in an election, success or failure in a legal battle, about a theft and whereabouts of thief, about illnesses and recovery, source of livelihood, construction of the house etc.  

Given above is just a brief list of questions that could be asked.  Go ahead and ask.  Do not hesitate.

Today let me write about something different but essentially Indian and connected with astrology.  It is about Ayurveda, the Indian system of medicinal treatment.  It has been in existence since ages and is still widely prevalent in rural areas of India.  It is gaining popularity again in the urban areas.

Ayurveda is the science of longevity.  The word Ayurveda literally means science of life.  Indian scholars of yore knew how each and every part of our body functioned and also knew how the forces of the nature worked.  They devised a science, which could extend the life of human beings.   This science is now taking roots in US and Europe and is known as alternate medicine.  

The theory of Ayurveda is very sound.  It acknowledges that the entire cosmos is made up of five great elements namely Air, Water, Fire, Ether and Earth.  Human beings are also made of these great elements but they manifest in the form of Vata, Pitta and Kapha.  Vata is made up of Air and Ether elements, Pitta of Fire and Water elements and Kapha of Water and Earth elements.  All human constitutions have these basic humors in a variety of combinations.  Persons exhibit the traits of the domination humor.  For example persons with Vata humor dominating could be slender, very tall or short.  Persons with Pitta humor dominating could have a body which is of medium built.  Persons with Kapha would have a stout body.  There are several other traits exhibited .

Thus constitution of a person can be identified by appearance of the person, personality traits and by checking of the pulse.   There are several other physical factors which help in identifying the dominating humor, for example teeth, hair, eyes etcetera.  The disease process creeps in when the tridoshas (three humors) get out of balance.  An ayurvedic doctor tries to find this.  Depending on the vitiated dosha, he administers the treatment and tries to bring the dosha back to its original state.  

Ayurveda is superior to Allopathy because of the soundness of its theory.  The theory of allopathy is based on germs.  For any disease, the inventor of the medicine as well as the allopathic doctor tries to find the germs causing the disease.  Then he tries to find a medicine which can kill these germs.  Now, this is an erroneous starting point.  Here the constitution is completely neglected.  Constitution of a person is of paramount importance.  Two persons suffering from the same disease may respond differently to the same medicine depending on the constitution of the person.   An ayurvedic doctor is always in the know of the constitution of his patients and administers medicines accordingly.

Ayurveda also recommends seasonal cleaning of the body for prevention of disease.  It was observed by the ancient Indian scholars that the body accumulates Vata during the rainy season, Pitta during summer and Kapha during winter season.  By employing appropriate Pancha Karma (Five Methods) treatment at the end of the season, aggravated humor can be brought to check and good health is maintained. 

Now this system of ayurveda is well integrated with astrology.  An astrologer can also find out which humor has vitiated and can help the doctor in identifying the disease.  One who knows both these systems viz.  Ayurveda and Astrology can cure his patients better and faster since identification of the disease becomes easier.

Here I have introduced you to a new system of treatment for the diseases.  I have just given you the basic concepts.  The subject is vast.  Ayurveda mentions of cures of diseases that are considered incurable in Allopathic treatment.  There is plenty of literature available on the subject and is available in the book-stores.  If one feels inspired by this little article of mine, one can visit one of the book-stores and explore further on the subject.

People must be wondering why this website works on donations where as similar websites are charging a fortune to give predictions.  

I am not charging any fixed amount as my fee since I believe that astrology is a noble profession and should remain one.  Lots of people have come into this arena to make a fast buck from gullible people.

People who generally end up asking questions are confused and miserable.  I certainly do not want to make my fortune out of their misery. I have no intention of putting more burdens in their lives!  And hence this site works on donation and does not charge any fixed fee.
